Mine No.1 Cut apart from the layout, the Ramsey Mine area is ready to relocate.

Ramsey Mine No.1 The mine is removed from the layout, one of the first areas to be cut away.
The layout is cleared of all the rolling stock, buildings and loose landscape material. Rusty gets started by cutting some track in preparation for sectioning the layout for relocation.
Beginning removal of the large yard. Preserving the trackage in this area will be important to getting the new layout up and running in the fastest time!
A large section of the layout is removed near the approach to Delaney's Junction.
"Where did this big screw come from?!" Rusty works under the layout with a reciprocating saw. After more than 25 years, and some solid benchwork, it's a challenge to take it apart.
